What's your motivation? when a person is told they will die if they don't stop drinking, suddenly the will power kicks in and that person stops drinking. What was the motivation? Wanting to live? What diets are best?  Its all about you!! 

What works best for you is what works best.  If you are a meat eater then something like Dr. Atkins diet will work best.  If you are a Carb lover, then a low fat diet would do just fine.  If you are a in-between fats and carb person then South beach Diet is the one for you.  There is a diet for every kind of eating habit.  Choosing the right one is choosing the one that best fits your eating habits.
